One of the highlights was learning about Champion REIT’s ESG philosophy. Sophia Wong shared such valuable insights on how to effectively connect multiple stakeholders through meaningful community initiatives.

 
 

Evolution of "Social" in Hong Kong
Daisy Ng (FSSE’s Chief CAtalyst Officer) provided a fascinating overview of how the concept of "social" has evolved in Hong Kong- 

  • Initially focused on purchasing from social enterprises

  • Progressing to corporations actively participating in generating impact

  • Advancing to incubating social enterprises

  • And now we see an increase in investments in impact-focused and impact-generating businesses

The Importance of Resilience in Social Entrepreneurship

A brief but impactful conversation with Ted (FSSE’s CEO) served as a powerful reminder of the resilience and persistence required in social entrepreneurship. It reminded my endeavor in creating meaningful impact is a lifelong journey, and not a sprint! 

The session was incredibly informative. I highly recommend anyone interested in learning more about social enterprises to attend future public events organized by the Fullness Social Enterprises Society.
