The wonderful folks at YWAM Tuen Mun

I want to tell you about YWAM Tuen Mun.

I had met with wondrous Ruesga Faby and Stephanie about 4 years ago, through a mutual connection, and they have not stopped inspiring me to always do better since.

YWAM is Youth With A Mission, an interdenominational Christian mission organisation with a focus on missionary work and training for Christian missions, with a purpose to "know God and to make Him known”. 

YWAM Tuen Mun has a focus on performance arts and a dedication to serving the marginalised in the community. YWAM TM also has a food bank - at which The Good Cake is so privileged to send rice to.

What amazes me every time that I volunteer or just visit, is how their kindness, joy and faith always shines through. What can possibly bring a group of youths together - daily - to just serve? The complexities involved in managing a food bank, the regulations to follow, the logistics to weave through. Yet, day in and out, these wonderful people of God are here, committed to the cardboard grandparents, the elderly who live in financial difficulties, the families who struggle. 

I can’t say enough how much admiration I have for the team at YWAM TM, and what a joy it is to witness their faith and dedication, I have so much to learn!
