I am a Fellow of Resolve Foundation's 2024 Program, Adding Life to Years: Upholding Dignity in Aging
Earlier this April, I received an email from an organisation that the ignorant me, had not known about - Resolve Foundation. I had then met with Katrina Fenton and Kimberly Wong (at my application interview) after, to find out that Resolve is comprised of a fascinating team with this extraordinary and meaningful mission in mind - that Hong Kong can be a more inclusive city for everyone, and everyone of us has the power to take everyday action to advance social justice.
So you can imagine my delight when I had received news of my successful application to this year’s fellowship - Life to Years: Upholding Dignity in Aging. You can read more about it here.
Engaging workshops, impactful conversations questioning social norms surrounding death and old age, meeting with like-minded industry leaders, and not to mention being paired with a majorly experienced mentor who’s been giving me crash-course CEO lessons. I’ve also been greatly encouraged by this network that I am now a part of, bearing witness to the good that we are all striving to achieve together for Hong Kong.
I am learning that HK has an incredibly vibrant scene dedicated to the well-being of the elderly in our city, and I am not so alone afterall :) How silly of me to have ever thought that way!
