Moderating a fireside chat - on Mobilising Resources

Moderated my very first fireside chat and all πŸ˜€ We were at our bi-weekly workshop with Resolve Foundation and just this Sunday we spoke about Mobilising Resources - both tangible and intangible.

I think that we all dream about funding but we learnt that it is just as important to tap into resources that are overseas (say fellowships), your extended network, stay creative, but most of all to be persistent and resilient!

It was a pleasure to meet Maggie Andersen of Manan Trust - a corporate foundation that supports NGO's across Asia (with a focus on healthcare and education)- https://lnkd.in/gdiz3Ght.

Also a delight to share the stage with our mentors Eric C., IT expert and founder of Yihoksik - https://lnkd.in/g-7XR5yu, an interactive platform that champions education for seniors and aging with dignity; and James Chong - who is the embodiment of "lifelong learning", and founder of Rolling Books, advocating for the pursuit of knowledge through reading, particularly for underprivileged kids in our city-https://lnkd.in/gnB6QVA4.

Resolve Foundation HK is a great way to connect with like-minded people, a true resource and their team - comprises of humans who just want to make the world a more inclusive space for everyone - if their next annual fellowship is aligned with what you do, I recommend that you go give it a shot!
